The Studio Experience
Our advanced class approximates real world filmmaking! Students take an idea and bring it all the way through the production process: from pitching to writing to storyboarding to filming and editing. The goal is to have a slate of 5-minute films at the end of the course. We view our final projects at a "Red Carpet" event and have a Q and A with the filmmakers. This class is designed for students in the 5th grade or higher and successful completion of Filmmaking Fundamentals class.

Where's the Studio?
In the real world a Studio provides resources that enable a film to be made; in short it is an important decision-maker. In this course the students are the "Studio" —not that they need to find financial backing or anything like that. Still they are the decision-makers determining our slate of movies... They are also the writers, the directors, the editors and everything in between!
